A.Notes before installing
1)Clean the socket and spigot
2)Inspection the rubber gasekt, and clean it.
3)Inspection the spigot outer chamfer
B.Installation rubber gasket
1)As for pipes≤DN300 , please install rubber gaskets as shows in Picture 1.
2)As pipes fo≥DN300, please install rubber gaskets as shows in Picture 2.
C.Lubricant
Clean spigot and rubber rings , make them smooth with lubricant, as shows in the following picture.
D.Trench wideth
When the pipes are laid in the trench, the width of trench should be 200mm—300mm wider than the outside diameter of the pipe, as shown in the following table.

F.Checking
Having been successfully inserted to the spigot, the joint should then be checked to see if the gasket is correctly seated, which can be done by inserting a metal ruler into the socket gap.
